The Quality and Engineering Circle, offered for several years now, focuses on quality and engineering topics related to the product life cycle.

Last year, the event drew a substantial number of participants who virtually joined from diverse countries and various time zones. As of 2024, the format is becoming even more flexible, as we are extending the event period to the entire year. This will allow you to regularly catch up on the latest trends and developments in webinars held in German and English.

In the last 50 years motor vehicles have become increasingly dependent upon electronic control units (ECUs). The growing interconnectivity of these ECUs has opened up onboard systems to potential interference from bad actors. Attack trees are a powerful tool for identifying paths of attack and determining the likelihood and risk of the threat to a system. This presentation will explore the history, applications, and methodology of attack tree analysis. Examples will be presented using Isograph’s AttackTree 5.0 software solution.
