PeakAvenue Certified Consultants: Experts Workshop 2024

This year’s PeakAvenue Certified Consultants (PCCs) Experts Workshop, held from December 2–3, was a tremendous success, marking another milestone in collaboration and the continued development of methods and software. Now in its 17th edition, the 1.5-day event once again provided a platform for engaging discussions, practical solutions, and valuable networking opportunities. The positive atmosphere defined the gathering and underscored the importance of personal interaction.

Diverse Group of Participants Enriches Discussions

A total of 13 PCCs participated in the workshop —11 on-site and two virtually. Five consultants represented PeakAvenue: Dr. Thiemo Zambanini, Andreas Wilhelm, Dirk Huber, Nico Matthäus, and Dr. Ummo Fooken. This diverse mix of participants made it possible to explore various perspectives and engage in constructive discussions. Despite the challenges presented by the current economic situation, particularly in the automotive sector, the group demonstrated a strong commitment to developing joint strategies and learning from one another.

Organizational Updates

A significant moment during the workshop was the handover of the PCCs’ technical oversight from Dr. Thiemo Zambanini to Andreas Wilhelm. Additionally, the organizational responsibilities previously handled by Manuela Meinokat will also be transferred. While a successor has not yet been determined, plans are already underway to establish an international PCC team, with the first consultant for this initiative already on board.

Innovations and Expert Presentations

One of the central focuses of the workshop was addressing specific questions brought by the PCCs. The event provided ample space for expert discussions and presentations. Nico Matthäus introduced PeakAvenue Documents, a new product that garnered significant interest and positive feedback.

Dr. Ummo Fooken showcased new features in the e1ns software, particularly in versions 4.4 and 4.5, highlighting the implementation of PCC suggestions. Participants expressed their enthusiasm for the ongoing improvements, which clearly reflect their needs and feedback.

Another highlight was the presentation of concepts for the new FMEA module by Andreas Wilhelm and Dirk Huber. The ideas were met with great approval, and the PeakAvenue Certified Consultants are already looking forward to implementing the solutions in their practice. Such encouraging feedback motivates PeakAvenue to stay the course and continue its development efforts.

Networking and Personal Connections

A special highlight was the group visit to the Dortmund Christmas Market on the evening of the first workshop day. Against the backdrop of the impressive Christmas tree, participants concluded the day at an Italian restaurant. This informal setting fostered personal connections and strengthened the sense of community. While professional topics were discussed, private conversations also contributed to building trust and establishing an even closer collaboration.

Looking Ahead

The 2024 workshop once again demonstrated how vital regular interaction between PeakAvenue and the PCCs is. The collective discussions and ideas provide a strong foundation for overcoming current challenges and further expanding cooperation. The team is already looking forward to next year’s meeting, which will undoubtedly offer exciting content and opportunities for further development.

PeakAvenue sincerely thanks all participants for their dedication and valuable contributions, which made this workshop an unforgettable experience. Here’s to continued success and collaboration!
