E1NS CONTROL PLAN

Stable, manageable processes and ensuring product quality.

The control plan, also known as a production control plan, serves as a tool for the targeted control and monitoring of production processes. It includes documented measures and test methods that are used to precisely control product and process characteristics.

Its main goal is to ensure stable processes to ensure product quality.

  • Used during quality planning and part of the overall quality process
  • Supports the production of quality products according to customer requirements
  • Provides the logical structure of the process
  • Structured approach to developing and selecting value-adding monitoring methods
  • Provides a complete overview of test measures and provides data for test plans
  • Planning and constant updating of testing and monitoring systems in HACCP studies

Implementation of the new requirements

AIAG Control Plan Manual

The new AIAG Control Plan Manual, published in March 2024, requires additional data and information for the Control Plan. PeakAvenue integrates these requirements into the e1ns Control Plan (version 4.5).

The following changes are planned for e1ns:

  • Master data: The part number receives information on the "Change level"
  • New status information can be selected: Production/Safe-Launch, Pre-Launch/Safe-Launch
  • A new column has been added to the Control Plan form. The person responsible can also be named for the reaction plan - Owner/Responsible.
  • The header data of the control plan, process flow chart and inspection plan receive the required new master data.

With the next version, users will be able to update their Control Plan.

Why e1ns Control Plan?

Quick setup with the process configurator

  • The control plan requires data from various sources. The process configurator presents clear complex connections between process and product structure as well as machines and characteristics.
  • The matrix representation is easy to understand and enables a very quick, systematic approach.
  • After the process has been configured, the Control Plan form is already filled with the essential data. Only the measuring equipment, samples, control methods and reaction plans are added.

Consistent, up-to-date, and easily available data

  • Changes and updates to process data are automatically propagated to all other forms affected (FMEA, process flow chart, etc.). The data in e1ns.flow is also synchronized when processes are created and modeled visually.
  • Critical process and product characteristics are consistently indicated and updated.
  • Control Plan is a web application, which means no local installation is necessary. Employees from all corporate divisions have easy access – from anywhere in the world.

Individual requirements are taken into account

  • e1ns Control Plan benefits from the e1ns toolbox concept.
  • Additional columns or data are added to the standard control plan form if necessary – depending on the internal requirements of the company.
  • The data output can also be configured individually depending on which documents are needed for projects, customers, or archiving purposes.

Branches and Standards

Control Plan is used in industry for production processes.

  • IATF 16949 and AIAG demand the creation of a control plan.
  • It is a required document for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • The FAO/WHO HACCP standard (ALINORM 97/13A, Annex II) requires the establishment of a monitoring system for critical control points. This standard is used as the basis for legal regulations and safety standards in the food industry.
