e1ns.p-diagram

Understanding influences on system behavior

The AIAG/VDA guideline recommends the P-diagram for the preparation of an FMEA. A clear structure is proposed that is intended to analyze all influences on a function.

Our approach not only offers a clear structure, but also enables a comprehensive analysis of all influences on a function. The users decide to what extent data should be used. If desired, the P-diagram can also be used completely independently as documentation of the system behavior.

Your benefits

Why e1ns.p-diagram?

Time and cost savings

  • Visual, easy understandable presentation
  • Data is also used in other analyses
  • Design decisions are supported
  • Duplication of work is avoided and the maintenance effort is minimized
  • Quick start through uncomplicated handling

International collaboration

  • Access via web browser
  • Local installation is not required
  • Links with direct access to the P-Diagram
  • Parallel working in real-time
  • Translation into other languages

Quality assurance

  • Operation according to AIAG/VDA guideline
  • Optimization approaches are identified
  • Data is always available and up-to-date

Focus and functions

Work in a team

  • Just a web browser is required to collaboratively analyze a P-Diagram.
  • Employees receive links with direct access to the P-diagram.
  • During moderation, team members work simultaneously in the P-diagram and add their knowledge to the fields.

Use of data for FMEA and system analysis

Results of the analysis are used for FMEA and system analysis if necessary. This is done conveniently using suggestion lists in the relevant fields:

  • Disturbances are offered in suggestion lists for causes of errors in the FMEA.
  • Input and output are offered in suggested lists for specifications.

Individual configuration

  • The modular concept from e1ns enables company-specific configuration so that individual working methods can be mapped.
  • In addition to the graphic editor, there is a form for the P-diagram in which data can be easily revised, analyzed and filtered.
  • The form also displays fields from the FMEA form (error, error sequence, cause). This makes it possible to transfer FMEA-relevant data quickly and clearly from the P-diagram to the FMEA.

Collaborate internationally

  • Translating the P-diagram into other languages enables consistent international collaboration.
  • An interface to Google Translate is available.
